Quote of the Month: Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind; And therefore is wing'd Cupid painted blind. -William Shakespeare
Thought:
An old man got on a bus one February 14th, carrying a dozen roses. He sat beside a young man. The young man looked at the roses and said, "Somebody's going to get a beautiful Valentine's Day gift."
"Yes," said the old man.
A few minutes went by and the old man noticed that his young companion was staring at the roses. "Do you have a girlfriend?" the old man asked.
"I do," said the young man. "I'm going to see her right now, and I'm going to give her this Valentine's Day card."
They rode in silence for another 10 minutes, and then the old man got up to get off the bus. As he stepped out into the aisle, he suddenly placed the roses on the young man's lap and said, "I think my wife would want you to have these. I'll tell her that I gave them to you."
He left the bus quickly. As the bus pulled away, the young man turned to see the old man enter the gates of a cemetery.
Meditation: "For God so loved the World that He gave His only begotten son." God loved us not because of our pretty face, nor any other thing. He loved us for who we are.

Quote of the Month: There are two things for which animals are to be envied: they know nothing of future evils, or of what people say about them. - Voltaire
Thought: The best way to judge a person is to observe how he treats those who can do them absolutely no good.
My note: Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are. Character is something that characterize a person. It can be changed by environment, by experience, by knowledge and by the person himself.
Meditation: No matter how well you've done, there are always somebody against you. Trust yourself, and trust the Lord. He will always lead you the best way and teach you to be the best of you.

Quote of the Month: Treat your friends as you do your pictures; place them in the best light. - Pierre-Auguste Renoir (1841 - 1919)
Thought: We must love them both
- those whose opinions we share and those whose opinions we
reject. For both have labored in the search for truth, and both
have helped us in the finding of it. - St. Thomas Aquinas (1225-1274)
Theologian and philosopher
My note: Year end is coming soon. I have too many plans and too many items in the to-do list. What I have learnt is to stay focus, prioritize them, and take action. Time is flying quickly and no person can stop it. The only thing we could do is be a sprinter, and compete with it. For me, I will stay focus on the Daily bible plan for Chinese.
Meditation: Being a good father on earth is not an easy task. But the heavenly father is much much better that what I had done.
Father on earth | Heavenly Father | |
Preparation | Preparation started one year before the baby is delivered | Preparation started before the earth was formed. |
Deepness of love | Understand the behavior of the baby and learn to interact with the baby | He knows us from far away and comprehend our word in our tongue |
Time to care | As much time as possible and monitor the action of the baby by remote monitor. Father will care their children around 10-18 years | Heavenly father care for us for 24 hours a day for our whole life. |

Quote of the Month: The world really isn't much worse than it ever was. It's just that the news coverage is so much better.
Thought:
When dealing with people, it is important to remember that everyone does not see things from the same perspective. Understanding someone's viewpoint is the first step to effective communication. Unfortunately, the perspective of others is too often overlooked.
When I think of perspective I am often reminded of a conversation between me and my son in the summer he turned four. That spring Mark had asked for a spot in the family garden to call his own. He turned the soil, broke the clumps, and planted his favorite vegetable - corn.
Toward the middle of July, Mark was concerned that his corn was not growing fast enough. I tried to reassure him that the corn was doing just fine by quoting him the familiar benchmark used by farmers, "...knee-high by the Fourth of July." My lesson came with his retort: "My knees or yours?"

My note: I've found that there is Bible Plan for English, but not for Chinese. I decided to started a new web page so that People can follow to read daily in order to finish the Bible once in a year. This is also good for me as well because I can follow the plan accordingly. George Muller have read the Bible more than 50 times, and I think we can. Start reading the Bible once in a year and see how many times you can finish.

Quote of the Month: It's better to be a lion for a day than a sheep all your life. - Sister Elizabeth Kenny (1880-1952), Australian Nurse
Thought:
It Can Be Done The ones who miss all the fun
Are those who say, "It can't be done."
In solemn pride they stand aloof
And greet each venture with reproof.
Had they the power they'd efface
The history of the human race.
We'd have no radio or motor cars,
No street lit by electric stars;
No telegraph nor telephone,
We'd linger in the age of stone.
The world would sleep if things were run
By those who say, "It can't be done."Author Unknown
My note: Imagination is the key to unlock our brain. There are a lot of rules written in the World, and we are told that we shall play by rule. These rules hinder our imagination. Anything beyond this will be told "It can't be done". The ability to turn a dream into truth are those who can success, and think beyond the box.

Quote of the Month: The great secret of a successful marriage is to treat all disasters as incidents and none of the incidents as disasters.
Thought: To keep a fire burning brighter, there's one easy rule: Keep the logs together, near enough to keep warm and far enough apart for breathing room.
My note: To keep good relations with people is not that easy. Everyone is so unique that there is no fixed rule. Besides, there are too many tools that keep people away from you. The e-mail, e-shopping, home-office ... are tools that you can stay at home all day, without contact anybody.

Quote of the Month: Joy is a net of love by which you can catch souls.... a joyful heart is the inevitable result of a heart burning with love.
Thought: Leaves may change from green to gold, the sky from blue to grey. A summer's afternoon becomes a sparkling winter day. People change, and places change and times keep moving on. But one thing that will always stay the same - the love of My God.
